ChildrenThe peer support group is designed for parents of children with sight loss and their siblings. At PERK, we strengthen one another by bringing families together to share ideas, support, methods and encouragement while providing resources to help parents of blind and partially sighted children play a pivotal role in advocating for their children.
PERK will connect you with other families to share essential information, understanding, tips, techniques, milestones and develop a network of support.
PERK is not just a support group for parents. Fun, interactive and activities are also coordinated for children and siblings to socialize and interact with others.
This group meets via Zoom web conference on the last Sunday of every month from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
