ReDirect
ReDirect is a youth-based (for 14 – 30ish yr olds) program that works with young adults to lower the risk of violence from individuals that have extreme ideological beliefs with the potential to lead to acts of violence. The program works to identify risk factors, and then build or provide supports to lower these risk factors. It is important to note that ReDirect does not attempt to change belief systems, but focuses on reducing the risk of violence. The presentation explains the ReDirect model and provides a Key Behaviour tool to help identify youth at risk of committing violence for ideological beliefs.
