Join Gateway Association’s full-day workshop that empowers parents/caregivers of 9-13 year-olds with disabilities with knowledge, resources and a sense of direction for the future, while connecting with other families.
They will touch on a variety of topics including values and belonging in the community, visioning and planning, various transitions during later elementary school, IPPs, navigating various systems (FSCD) age appropriate for families with “tween” age children as well as advocacy and having difficult conversations.
